The AC produces comfort conditions in which the human beings tend to feel highly comfortable. In these conditions the working efficiency of the human beings becomes maximum; hence they are able to work with greater vitality. The air conditioner helps circulate filtered air inside the room or office. This air is free from dust and dirt particles, smoke, microorganisms, bacteria etc. The windows of the air-conditioned rooms and offices are closed; Even the noise from the air-conditioners is very low. Due to this, there is quietness inside the rooms, which gives soothing sleep at night. Due to above, so many advantages the use of the air conditioners has become so much extensive today. In the earlier days, air-conditioner was considered to be the item of luxury, now it has become the item of necessity without which one just cannot live in the extreme summer conditions. Traditionally, air-conditioners have been considered to be “luxury” appliances, and therefore, the demand for air-conditioners have either come from the institutional segment or from affluent homes in the top metropolitan cities of India. That is no longer the case. While easy finance options have made air-conditioners more affordable and a “must-have” appliance in more and more middle class society.
